Primo Tedesco's goal is to develop products which satisfy the customers' real needs. In the pursuit of ongoing improvement in all its processes, the company has laboratories in its plants to certify the raw materials used in production, and also to evaluate end products. Throughout the production process, the adoption of product traceability makes it possible to recover information based on the lot and period of production, essential for follow-up and documentation of the guarantee of quality.

The company has two laboratories, chemical and physical, in the pulp and paper mill. The purpose of the chemical lab is to monitor and control raw materials, production processes and recovery processes of chemical elements used in production, such as the analysis of effluent treatment. The purpose of the physical lab is to control the final quality of finished products and, to do this, it utilizes a large amount of latest-generation electronic equipment to conduct tests on the product's general properties, strength, absorption, surface and permeability.
